What you get first

Your audio never leaves your computer: tags and files are read locally in your browser. Free to start — no plugin, no install.

Why trust it

Built by a DJ-producer solving a real set-planning problem.

Designed for real set prep, not just library management.

Analyze your DJ set’s energy curve — and fix the order before you play

Import your playlist from Rekordbox, Traktor, or your own audio files. EnergyCurve scores the set from 1 to 10, maps its energy curve, and shows exactly which tracks to move — then exports the fixed order back to your DJ software.

Built for DJs, producers, and performers who want to design better performances, not just manage tracks.

Built by a DJ-producer solving a real set-planning problem. Now onboarding early users directly into the product.

Features

Understand what your set is actually doing

EnergyCurve reads BPM, musical key, and energy for every track, then analyzes the set as a whole: where momentum builds, where it stalls, and which moves fix it.

01
See the full energy arc
The energy flow of your whole set on one curve: warm-up, build, peak time, cool-down. Flat stretches and premature peaks stop being a feeling and become something you can point at.
02
Check harmony and transitions
Camelot key compatibility plus energy jumps between consecutive tracks, so you catch clashing keys and abrupt drops before the dancefloor does.
03
Break it down track by track
Understand how each track shapes the structure, pacing, and emotional direction of the whole performance.
04
Fix it in one click
Every issue comes with a concrete move — “send track 7 to position 3” — and shows the score before and after. Apply it, undo it, or let AI reorder the whole set.
05
Export straight back to the booth
Send the fixed order back as Rekordbox XML, Traktor NML, M3U8, TXT, or CSV — BPM, key, and energy included, ready to load for the gig.

Differentiation

It doesn’t replace your DJ software. It reads what your set is doing.

Mixed In Key tells you what each track is. Rekordbox and Traktor store and play them. EnergyCurve is the only one that analyzes the set as a whole — where momentum builds, where transitions lose impact, and why some nights land harder than others — and hands you the moves that fix it.

Story

Built by a DJ (who also faced the same problem)

As a DJ and producer, I’ve always struggled with one thing: building sets that feel right — not just technically, but energetically.

Getting the energy flow right takes time. A lot of time.

And most tools don’t really help. They stop at track management — like Rekordbox — but don’t go deeper into performance understanding.

So I decided to build something I actually needed.

A tool to analyze, understand, and improve my sets.

And now, I’m sharing it with DJs everywhere — regardless of genre — so we can all create better performances.

EnergyCurve is the tool I wanted when I was trying to understand not just what I played, but how the room actually felt because of it.

Part of the StageLink suite

EnergyCurve is part of the StageLink suite

StageLink builds tools for artists. EnergyCurve is the one built for a single craft — the DJ. Same team, same standards, same roadmap: what we learn from performers everywhere comes back into the booth.

One thing to expect at checkout

EnergyCurve is operated by StageLink LLC. Your card statement and receipts read “StageLink LLC” — not “EnergyCurve”. Same company, nothing to worry about; we’d rather tell you here than surprise you at checkout.

Plans

Start free — and the export back to your DJ software is free too

The analysis, the energy curve, the fixes, and native export to Rekordbox, Traktor, and M3U8 all live on the free tier, permanently. PRO and PRO+ lift the limits and add real audio analysis — both are available now.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short, straight answers. Anything missing, write to us — a human replies.

What does EnergyCurve actually do?

EnergyCurve analyzes the order of a DJ set. It imports your playlist, resolves each track’s BPM, musical key, and energy, scores the whole set from 1 to 10, draws its energy curve, and lists the specific track moves that would improve it. You apply the moves and export the corrected order back to your DJ software.

Is the 1–10 score per track or for the whole set?

For the whole set. Mixed In Key’s familiar 1–10 rates each individual track’s energy; ours rates how well the set is put together — its energy flow, its arc, the size of the jumps between tracks. A set full of 9-energy bangers can still score 4 out of 10, because playing nine peaks in a row isn’t a journey. Per-track energy is shown separately, next to each track.

Which DJ software does EnergyCurve support?

Import and export both work with Rekordbox (XML), Traktor (NML), M3U8 playlists, Rekordbox text exports, and CSV. You can also drop in your audio files directly, or paste a plain tracklist. Serato support is on the roadmap.

Do I have to upload my music?

No. When you pick audio files, EnergyCurve reads their tags in your browser and only the resulting text data (artist, title, BPM, key, energy) is sent to the server. The audio itself never leaves your computer.

What if my tracks have no BPM or key tags?

EnergyCurve degrades gracefully: it uses your manual value first, then the tag, then a genre-anchored estimate from BPM, and finally a position-based estimate. Every value shows which source it came from, so you always know what’s measured and what’s inferred. You can also type any value in by hand.

How much does EnergyCurve cost?

There is a free tier, and there always will be. Paid plans — PRO at US$9.99/month and PRO+ at US$19.99/month, with roughly two months free on annual — are available now and unlock real audio analysis, unlimited playlists, and unlimited AI ordering. Your card statement will read “StageLink LLC”.

Why does my receipt say StageLink LLC?

Because EnergyCurve is part of the StageLink suite and is operated by StageLink LLC, the company behind it. Payments are processed under that name, so “StageLink LLC” is what appears on your card statement and receipts. It’s the same company that builds EnergyCurve.

Is EnergyCurve a replacement for Rekordbox or Mixed In Key?

No, it sits between them. Mixed In Key tells you what each track is; Rekordbox stores and plays them. EnergyCurve is the only one that analyzes the set as a whole — its narrative arc — and tells you what to change. It works alongside whatever you already use.

Which genres does it work with?

All of them. Genre sets the expected BPM and energy band — techno, house, drum & bass, and more are built in — and you can create your own genre and set context (opening, main time, closing) if the presets don’t match what you play.
